PAY: $33 - $36 per hour (Based on Experience) PER DIEM: $80.00 HOURS: 50+ Hours per week SCHEDULE: Monday - Sunday, 4:00pm-12:00am (overtime available) DURATION: 2+ months START DATE: ASAP RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CONSTRUCTION SAFETY OFFICER: 3 years of safety experience centered around dredge/barge/tugboat type work is a plus Involved in all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Ability to plan for and assign resources as applicable for projects Supervise safety of all onsite personnel and subcontractors Management/Enforcement of Company Safety Program and Security Policies Conduct regular safety meetings with trade subcontractors Conduct safety orientation for all new employees onsite Required to ensure all personnel onsite are equipped with proper PPE Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, government officials, etc. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to approved plans and specifications REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION SAFETY OFFICER: Active experience in RMS Past 3 consecutive years as the SSHO on a USACE project.
