OVERVIEW The Site Superintendent/Site Safety/Quality Control is a key team member and will be the company's representative on construction sites. This person will have the responsibility and authority to manage the daily coordination and direction of a project. The Site Superintendent will ensure everything remains safe, within budget, on schedule, and meets the company's quality standards and client's expectations. Duties/Responsibilities: Warranty Calls • Ensuring timeliness of calls regarding homeowners’ schedule. • Able to troubleshoot and repair homeowners’ electrical issues. • Ability to handle dissatisfied homeowners and deescalate situations regarding frustration of call etc. Duties/Responsibilities: Hot Checks • Able to accurately complete “Hot Checks” prior to final inspection and homeowner closing. • Must have knowledge in energizing and deenergizing homes. • Able to troubleshoot any faulty equipment, circuit, and breakers. Duties/Responsibilities: Punch Lists • Must be able to complete Punch List – A punch list is a quality checklist from the builder of the homeowner of any issues identified during the walk through. • Must be able to troubleshoot and read blueprints/ floor plans. • Must have National Electric Code (NEC) knowledge. Required Skills/Abilities: • Electrical trade knowledge for all aspects of residential electrical. • Ability to read prints and scale to ensure placement of fixtures, receptacles, switches, etc. • Must have their own standard residential electrical tools. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Must have specialty tool use knowledge – i.e. Jack Hammer, Generator, Multimeter, Toner. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Must be able to read paperwork and fill out necessary information. Education and Experience: • Previous experience in all phases of residential electrical. • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Must have electrical safety knowledge. (Lock Out Tag Out) Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. • Must be able to work in hot and confined spaces (attic work). • Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. • Must have clean driving record.
