Description

We are looking for a handyman or skilled DIY worker in the Birmingham and surrounding areas to handle some work on foreclosed homes. This individual should be a quick learner and/or have a team to complete some of the following types of work: Rekey (changing locks) Winterization (removing all water from the home) Trashouts (removing all trash from the home) Minor Repairs (drywall, paint, cabinets, doors, toilets, etc) Snow Removal Lawn Mowing Cleanings Having your own equipment and a trailer/truck would be a plus. Dependable transportation is a must. This will be pretty consistent work over the next couple of years within a 10-25 mile radius and STARTS NOW. Pay will be per job and paid within 1-3 days. POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the operations leadership, Service Technicians will be held to a high standard of service. Keeps his/her supervisor informed of customer concerns, needs, and up-selling opportunities. • Documents all work performed and closes out all activities upon completion. • Clearly communicates with both customers and co-workers. • Performs assigned general warehouse duties including but not limited to cleaning, organizing, rotating product, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts, and product. • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor. COMPETENCIES To perform this job successfully, the Service Technician must be self-motivated and have the ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision.
