The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge base and experience in Commerical HVAC installation, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to execute projects accurately. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Provide exceptional service as a technician in the field, addressing customer needs promptly. Engage in welding tasks as required for equipment repair or installation. Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning. 4+ yrs experience in the HVAC industry. Strong understanding of mechanical principles related to air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Familiarity with HVAC design principles. Ability to read schematics and technical documents effectively. Valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites. I’m looking for someone to join me in building a small house project. We’re currently working on the foundation, with plenty more to come. The goal is to be working every day, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, but there may be occasional days off if we’re waiting on inspections, materials, or weather. The first project is a 300 sq. ft. timber-framed guest house near Willow Lawn. The frame is already cut, and the walls will be built with a hempcrete enclosure system finished in lime plaster. Once this house is complete, the next project will be a renovation and addition on the main house, using the same natural materials and methods — so there’s an opportunity to stay on long term. I’d love to work with someone who has some building experience and an interest in natural building. Attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn are important, since this type of work requires care and precision. Due to the nature of the project, and the fact that I cannot guarantee work every single day during the monday-friday range, I understand if there is a time that you cannot work as well. I will treat you with respect and understanding in all things that we do.
