General Manager (Midtown)

The Peanut Farm Sports Bar & Grill is seeking a General Manager to work with an established Management team and oversee all areas of operations. Applicant must have extensive training in restaurant management and marketing. Prefer a long term Anchorage resident with experience in the Anchorage market. All applicants must have a minimum (7) years experience in Restaurant / Bar management. All applicants for this position must provide 3 references and go through a background check. This position has contracted expectations including but not limited to; Work exclusively for the company, "The Peanut Farm Sports Bar & Grill" Work a minimum of 55 hours per week. Work weekends and holidays. Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Be able to practice forward thinking. Have a current Tap or Tips Alcohol certification. Have a current ServSafe food certification. Strong leadership and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to put in 15,000 steps in a shift. Extensive knowledge of all Federal, State and Municipal hiring and labor practices. Lead by example. Have a Strong knowledge of multiple types of Sports and sporting events. Represent our brand within the local community. This position is a salaried position with bonuses, paid vacation and a medical stipend.
