CNC OPERATOR / PROGRAMMER ____________________________________ JOB DESCRIPTION CNC Engineer, Operator and Programmer for high-end Custom Cabinetry and Architectural Millwork Company. AUTOCAD DRAFTSPERSON ____________________________________ JOB DESCRIPTION Draftsman will prepare drawings and plans, liaise with builders, contractors, and production, planning and design teams. Full-time position. JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES • Work in collaboration with project management and production team • Knowledge of engineering principles, mathematics, building materials and construction techniques • Acquire information about each job: Client, Architect, Designer, GC, schedule, expectations, etc. • Follow Company drafting standards • Proactive when questions arise: inquire, call, send RFI’s as needed • Specify materials, finishes, hardware, lighting, etc. • Inform office if materials are not available, not suitable, etc. • Make sure dimensions are verified and accurate with Project Managers prior to issuing drawings for production. If necessary confirm for yourself • Participation in project layouts, field measuring, and creating necessary templates • Prepare complete material and hardware orders and submit with drawings when ready for production • Provide all back up information when submitting drawings for production: spec-sheers, photos, sketches, notes, etc. • Participate in weekly production / scheduling meetings • Update DropBox consistently: diligence required in keeping the office DropBox organized and current with all up-to-date information and drawings • Participate in Company communication methods and systems • All outgoing emails must contain job name and item • All incoming emails must be answered professionally and courteously within 24 hours QUALIFICATIONS • 5+ years documented experience as a professional Draftsman and Cabinet Maker in the Custom Cabinetry and Architectural Millwork field • Experience working with Word Documents, DropBox, Google Docs, Excel • Proficient in AutoCAD and ability to learn and utilize other industry related softwares • Basic knowledge of CNC programming and operation • Proficient English communication skills - both written and verbal • Excellent problem-solving skills and multitasker with ability to manage more than one project • Ability to adhere and adjust to job schedules and deadlines • Think proactively - take initiative - be part of the team • Must have reliable transportation and be accessible by telephone during working hours 5.
