Having income tax experience would be helpful but not required. Have experience with QuickBooks Desktop for Windows. The job includes: tax return data entry and assembly (will train), bookkeeping, preparing legal forms, office administration, phones, maintaining files, helping clients, appointment setting, excellence in spelling, grammar, and punctuation, ability to prioritize tasks, and work independently. Expect training now and be ready for the busy income tax season starting now. Must be organized, follow instructions and be able to solve technology problems. Income tax experience, paralegal certificate or Legal Document Assistant is a plus. Great opportunity to learn a profession. Must live in Contra Costa County with a 925 area code cell phone. We offer flexible Walnut Creek work scheduling with around 16-32 hours per week, M-F from 9-6, not remote. You should have a clean background check and be bondable.
