F/T - Janitorial Position (Chicago- Hyde Park)

Realty & Mortgage Co. - Janitorial Position The objective of the janitorial position is to preform quality custodial work in a timely and professional manner. Ultimately responsible for aspects of property management that include, but are not limited to the following: · Assist in maintaining grounds: exterior of buildings (common walkways and surrounding landscape, parking lot, exterior staircases, and exterior light fixtures), interior hallways (sweep, mop, sanitize common areas, clean the windows and light fixtures), and the basements / laundry areas (dust blinds, clean window sills and counter tables, sanitize laundry equipment and door knobs, empty trash, and sweep hallways and laundry rooms). Clean the Leasing Office by sanitizing counters, door knobs, and phones, clean windowsills, microwave, bathrooms, cabinets, etc.. Job Duties include but are not limited to : · Walk the property and report any liability problems immediately. · Perform any and all duties called upon by supervisors. · Assist in routine cleaning including power washing, stripping, sweeping, and painting. · Capable of occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling, or transporting 30 pounds or more. · Attend both on-site & off-site training sessions as required. · Must have reliable transportation to get to work. · Represent property and Realty & Mortgage Co. professionally through dress and behavior.
