Location: First Hill Neighborhood, Seattle, WA Pay Range: $20.76 – $26.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Multiple positions available across two shifts: - Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM - Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM About the Role We are seeking several Construction Laborers to join our team for the duration of an active project located in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood, anticipated to run 18 months. This role supports skilled tradespeople and project teams by performing a variety of physical tasks on residential and commercial construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in both individual and team-oriented environments. Please note this is a project-based position; future opportunities may be available based on company needs and individual performance. All laborers must arrive prepared with their own basic hand tools and meet Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements at all times. This project is located in a busy urban area with limited public parking availability. Reliable transportation is required. We are an E-Verify compliant employer and will verify the employment eligibility of all new hires as part of the onboarding process. Responsibilities - Assist skilled workers with demolition, carpentry, framing, flooring, siding, painting, and installation of fixtures and cabinets. - Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment using hand trucks, flatbed or panel carts, wheelbarrows, and other non-motorized transport equipment. - Prepare and clean job sites; maintain an organized, safe work environment. - Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic jobsite equipment safely. - Follow all safety procedures and company policies. - Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion. Qualifications - Some prior construction or labor-intensive work experience preferred. - Basic understanding of construction methods or handyman work a plus. - Ability to read tape measures, follow instructions, and communicate effectively, including understanding and following verbal and written safety and work instructions in English. - Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious with strong teamwork skills. - Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods. - Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. - Must pass pre-employment drug test (including THC) and background check.
