Description: Seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Personal Assistant / light house keeping to help maintain a 2,500 sq. ft. home and assist with household responsibilities. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, proactive, and loves dogs. This position combines hands-on cleaning with personal assistant duties. Experience in the industry is a must. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain a 2,500 sq. ft. home to a high standard. Hire a cleaning Lady to do the deep cleaning and manage this persons schedule. Manage all household cleaning tasks and schedules independently. Handle general dog care: feeding, walking, and administering medication if needed Schedule and manage dog-related appointments (vet, grooming, etc.) Place amazon orders / Returns Manage your own schedule and be proactive. Be able to drive me to appointments when needed. Personal Assistant Duties: Assist with home electronics and smart devices (Wi-Fi, streaming, speakers, etc.) Keep all devices updated. Help manage calendars, deliveries, and household logistics Coordinate vendors or maintenance appointments when needed Requirements Prior assistant experience in a private home. Physically capable of lifting rugs/furniture etc.. Other duties may be assigned. • Ability to appropriately handle and restrain a wide variety of local wildlife including small songbirds, seabirds, waterfowl, raptors, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. • Assess incoming wildlife by performing physical examinations to determine suitability for rehabilitation. • Correctly identify incoming animals to ensure proper food and housing prior to transfer. • Provide needed stabilization prior to transfer according to established policies and protocols. • Provide humane care for all wild animals in care. • Perform euthanasia in accordance with PHS/SPCA policies and state and federal laws. Perform decapitations when required for county health department. • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in all workspaces. • Maintain department equipment in good working order. Report items for repair/replacement as needed to appropriate supervisory staff. • Maintain proper paperwork, including animal medical records, according to PHS/SPCA policies and procedures. • Dispose of deceased animals. • Maintain a positive, educational approach with a willingness to listen when dealing with the public. • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure a positive public image, enhance the operation of the organization, and improve quality of care for animals. Supervisory Responsibilities: Training, supervising, and giving direction to department volunteers. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
