Currently, we are looking for some talented cooks. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude and a guest first mentality along with a drive to put out a consistently good product in line. Those with attention to detail, strong verbal communication skills (both internal and external) self-motivation, understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, procedures and best practices are essential to this position. Requirements: • Work seamlessly in small kitchen solo and with small team. • Be on time, reliable, organized and tidy. Ability to Follow Dress Code Responsibilities: • Set up workstations with required ingredients and cooking equipment. • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking • Prep with Skillet, Food Processor, Mixer and Convection Oven • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, coolers, freezers, dry goods, etc. •Ability to Cook using Waffle Machine and Skillets. • Ensure all food and other items are stored and labeled properly. • Follow and complete BOH closing duties. • Valid food handlers permit is required. $ 25 hr wage with Tips in Addition and Meal. Drink Preparation and Service Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to drink recipes and customer preferences. Garnishing drinks to enhance presentation and flavor. Take beverage orders from patrons, process food orders, and coordinate with the wait staff to ensure smooth service. Create and suggest specials from the drink menu to boost sales and enhance the customer experience. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, ensuring all glassware is clean and ready for use. Customer Service and Interaction Greet guests with a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service throughout their experience. Ensure customers meet the legal drinking age by checking IDs before serving alcohol. Engage with customers to assess their preferences and recommend drinks, enhancing customer satisfaction. Handle complaints or issues promptly, maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor. Work closely with other team members, including the barback and wait staff, to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive teamwork dynamic. Bar Maintenance and Operations Maintain and manage bar inventory, restocking items as needed throughout the shift. Operate the POS (point-of-sale) system and cash register for processing payments quickly and accurately. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including completing inventory checks and cleaning tasks. Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe work environment for both staff and patrons.

We are looking for Cooks in the SF area for client events. These positions are full-time and the schedule is Monday - Sunday all day shifts. These positions are on corporate campuses - NOT restaurants. The shift may have you start at one location and and go to another. Prep Cook - Batch/Bulk work, tasks vary from labeling containers, portioning fruit, prep knife work, cooking, following recipes. As I mentioned, sole line cooks tend to have a learning curve to our kitchen. We are not guest facing and there's no "line" as it were at a station to be cooking anything to order. There could be days spent all on knife work or even cold garde manger prep; but there then could be days of being tasked to make soups, side dishes, or other bulk cooking. This is a build prep role, fruit cups, veggies, salads and any additional needs.
