Caregiver – BOARDING CARE Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide daily living assistance and support to residents in our Boarding Care. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to help others maintain their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and well-being. Position Summary We are seeking a full‑time Small Engine Mechanic experienced in both commercial and residential equipment. The intention of the position is to provide housing for someone to be on the farm who can help with performing the day to day activities and projects (as part of the staff) necessary to keep the farm running. Someone with some mechanic and carpentry skills is preferable as we always have equipment to work on and projects to complete. We also have lots of hay to cut, bale and stack so tractor driving would also be a plus. The housing situation is a small bedroom, bathroom, and small living room type area in the basement of the main house where there is also a washer and dryer. Board includes utilities and use of kitchen, unless there is excessive usage in which case there will be extra charge. The position involves working 7 days a week. There will be morning and afternoon barn chores (feeding and turning out horses, cleaning and restocking stalls, feeding small animals) and other farm related jobs and projects so it basically would be comparable to working each day. There will be opportunity to ride and to participate in other events at the farm or in the community. **Time off will need to be negotiated with the owner as the animals need to be cared for every day.** Pay: $2400 per month with $1200 of that applied to board, leaving $300 cash paid at end of each week.
