One project is scheduled to begin this week, and we need someone who can start promptly. We also need window framing, tile work, etc. Job Details: Scope of Work: Replace existing pipes, including copper for drinking water supply and heating. Work with cast iron, galvanized steel, or other types of drain pipes. Implement a shower and bathtub faucet combination. Replace the drain for the bathtub. Install a new bathtub, vanity, and toilet (all materials are already on-site). Requirements: Must have all necessary tools for plumbing work, including a ProPress tool. Must be a licensed journeyman or master plumber. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations. Proven experience in residential plumbing, particularly with older homes. Ability to work efficiently and cleanly, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Must provide references and examples of previous work. Compensation: Offering $40 or more per hour, depending on experience. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Field Technician reports to the Jersey Shore Laboratory in Waretown, New Jersey. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license as well as a clean driving record to drive to and from sampling locations using a company vehicle. The starting rate of pay is $17.00 per hour for a full-time, 30-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. WHAT YOU'LL DO: The primary responsibility of the Field Technician is the performance of water tests and sample collections at assigned locations. Testing and sample collection may include municipal wells, city water, private homes, public locations, sewer and water plants, wastewater, and pools. Employees may also set up sample composite machines for next-day sample pickup. Employees are trained in proper and compliant collection techniques as well as transport protocols to a certified laboratory. QUALIFICATIONS: No prior experience is required, but interested candidates should have experience in roles that require detailed procedures, good communication skills with clients, outdoor work, as well as meeting daily deadlines.
