ABOUT US Studio Practice (SP) is a high-end architectural millwork and fabrication company based in Ozone Park, Queens. We specialize in luxury residential and select retail projects, delivering cabinetry, wall paneling, and custom furniture with uncompromising quality. Our projects range from New York penthouses to flagship retail builds for top brands. We are seeking a Shop Foreman with 10+ years of experience in architectural millwork or high-end fabrication to oversee daily production on our shop floor. This role is pivotal in connecting our design/engineering team with our skilled makers, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -Lead and manage shop staff, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress. -Oversee production schedules, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget requirements. -Maintain strict quality control standards on all fabricated components before delivery/installation. -Troubleshoot technical and workflow issues, collaborating with engineering and PM teams. -Ensure best fabricating practices, machine maintenance, and set safety guidelines. -Coordinate with operating manager, project managers, drafters, and CNC operators to align shop output with design intent. -Train, mentor, and evaluate junior staff to strengthen the team’s skills and efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS -10+ years of experience in architectural millwork, custom fabrication, or related field. -Proven leadership experience in a shop foreman, lead fabricator, or production manager role. -Deep knowledge of woodworking machinery, CNC equipment, and modern shop workflows. -Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans (Rhino/AutoCAD familiarity a plus). -Exceptional attention to detail, craftsmanship, and finish quality. -Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. -Knowledge or attitude for Project Management Software, specifically INNERGY. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience running CNC routers for custom millwork, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently during off-peak hours. Schedule - Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM - Occasional flexibility for project deadlines Key Responsibilities - Set up, program, and operate CNC routers for custom woodwork and millwork parts - Review drawings, material specs, and cut lists to ensure accuracy before production - Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality output on all parts - Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor technical issues - Keep an organized and clean work area to ensure safety and efficiency Qualifications - 2+ years of CNC operating experience in a millwork, cabinetmaking, or woodworking shop - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and cut files - Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (RhinoCAM, AutoCAD, or similar) preferred - Strong attention to detail and quality control - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Commitment to maintaining safety standards Compensation & Benefits - Competitive hourly wage, based on experience - Opportunity to work in a high-end, design-driven shop environment - Potential for growth within the company

Looking for a hard working individual that must have at least 10 years of experience. Job duties include but are not limited to taping up car for paint, matching color is key. Painter must have previous experience spraying PPG waterborne paint. Painter must always keep a clean and organized area for clean jobs. Highly motivated shop in lower Westchester County.
