Research and price items using provided resources and online tools. Organize and stage the home to create an attractive and easy-to-shop layout. Assist with setting up display tables, racks, and signage. Sale Day Operations (Fri/Sat): Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor. Answer customer questions about items, their history, and pricing. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Monitor the sales floor to ensure a safe and secure environment. Help with crowd control and managing customer flow. Sale Breakdown & Cleanup (Sat): Assist with packing up and organizing unsold items. Break down display tables and other equipment. Help with general cleanup of the estate, including sweeping, dusting, and removing trash. General Duties: Collaborate effectively with the estate sale manager and other team members. Maintain a positive and respectful attitude with clients, customers, and colleagues. Safeguard merchandise against theft or damage. Qualifications: Previous experience in retail, sales, or a related field is a plus. A strong interest in antiques, vintage items, art, furniture, and other household goods is highly desirable. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work the required Wednesday-Saturday schedule. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
