The Roll-Off Driver operates company vehicles while servicing containers and is responsible for complying with local, state and federal regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures. Education Requirements: High School education or GED required. Experience: Electrical or Mechanical Experience Requirements: The person should have some mechanical and electrical experience. Must be able to read, understand and implement installation and maintenance manual instructions. Should be able to learn lift station maintenance and repairs. Must learn, understand, comply, and retain all information on all OSHA requirements. Must have own tools. Organizational Relationships: The position reports to the Field Supervisor and to the Director of Operations. Physical Requirements: The position requires the ability to easily fit and perform job duties in maintenance areas of all Contracted Lift Stations. Minimum physical requirements are as follows:  Lifting: Must lift greater than 45 pounds repetitively throughout the day. Must be able to pick up, lift and hold 60 pounds while standing.  Flexibility: Must have the ability to perform the following tasks continuously and alternating for up to 8 + hours a day; o Sit, Stand, Walk, Bend/Crouch/Stoop, Climb, Squat, Crawl, Drive, Kneel, Twist, Balance and Reach. o Repetitive Foot Controls, Repetitive Hand Controls, Repetitive Grasp/Grab, Heavy Grasp (greater than 40kg). o Above Chest Level/Above Shoulder Work, Lift/Carry; Push/Pull greater than 40 pounds frequently. o Must be able to work within 18 inches from the body. o Must be able to regularly work in awkward bending, kneeling and/or twisting positions. o Must have good eye/hand coordination. Must be capable of fine finger manipulation. Vision minimum of at least 20/40 required in at least one eye. o Ability to grip tools and support their weight. Vibration may be transmitted from some tools. Environmental Conditions: Waste Water Pumping Station - Operation takes place inside pump repair shop and mostly outside field service work sometimes in confined spaces. Environment may be greasy and very dirty. It is the responsibility of each employee to use safety equipment (gloves, suits, etc). Personal Protective Equipment Required (Supplied by employer): Safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, suites, boots, tripod, safety harness, safety fall, winch, ladder, crane, respirator, gas detector.
