Posting (light bookkeeping) manual Safeguard Daysheet and Medisoft Program 3. Computer skills (PC) 4. Typing short reports on Word, medical terminology, 5. Verifying insurance information. 6. A small amount of medical billing knowledge including Medicare and Worker's Comp. and insurance collection is required. 7. Must be very organized and able to multi-task easily, make common sense decisions and be a good communicator. Duties: 1. Run the front desk 2. Manage the doctors schedule, 3. Email appointment reminders 4. Send medicare patients billing information to the outside biller 5. Bill Workers Comp. Intake QME patient info and communicate with workers compensation case lawyers. Print/send out QME Reports. 6. Keep files organized 7. Yearly purging of inactive files. 8. Oversee the function of front office equipment and maintain cleanliness of front office.
