Part-time Pizza Maker Job Description: We are looking for an experienced pizza maker to fill a vacant spot in our kitchen staff. Part-time position. 15-18 hours per week. We are looking for someone to work as a team player, follow instructions, and that can multitask. In addition, we’re seeking individuals with great communication and organizational skills. A good candidate for this job is a person with attention to detail who can keep the kitchen tidy and clean all while preparing, cooking, and arranging food together with the rest of our kitchen staff. We pride ourselves in our exceptional service, and we expect nothing less from our cooks. Responsibilities: Preparing and shaping pizzas Maintaining a wood-fired pizza oven at an optimal temperature Maintaining a sanitized and well-organized kitchen. Preparing workstations for cooking. Preparing and maintaining kitchen equipment. Checking the quality of the ingredients. Manage food storage, stock, and ingredient orders. Requirements: Prior experience as a pizza maker recommended, but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate. Must be skilled in operating kitchen equipment. You're a critical part of the restaurant as you establish the "First Impression" of the restaurant, control the flow of business and ensure all guest's receive great service. Crackers Cafe is a locally owned group of family style, full-service sit-down restaurants.
