Educational Assistant We are looking for a responsible and enthusiastic Educational Assistant to join our team at Woodland Charter School. Our school is a public Waldorf school serving K - 8 on a beautiful 19 acre campus in Murphy, Oregon. Our curriculum incorporates plenty of outdoor education, art, music and gardening. As an educational assistant, you will work with students in a whole group, small group and 1:1, as well as perform additional tasks to support teachers in providing a comprehensive educational program. Our ideal candidate is industrious, cooperative and has experience in an educational setting. Willingness and ability to learn and adapt are incredibly important in this role. Educational Assistant Duties and Responsibilities -Work with the Class Teacher to coordinate and determine daily tasks -Complete tasks in a timely organized manner -Work with students individually or in small groups in a positive, supportive manner -Provide extra help as needed to students with physical, mental, or linguistic challenges -Operate office equipment including computers, printers, photocopiers etc -Adhere to accommodations in students’ IEPs and 504 plans -Supervise students in various settings including classrooms, playgrounds, and field trips -Be prepared to work outdoors for extended periods of time -Enforce school rules and policies Teacher’s Assistant Requirements and Qualifications -High school diploma or GED required -Exemplary written and spoken communication skills -Strong collaboration skills; able to work well with a team -Able to take direction -Effective multitasker; can prioritize tasks based on importance and deadlines -Organized and accountable with a strong work ethic -Must pass background check -Ability to commit to professional level of confidentiality -Willing to support Waldorf Education Core Principles and our schools mission and vision -Love of working with children -Ability to support students with a variety of learning styles and behavioral needs Pay and Benefits -Friendly, welcoming work environment -Opportunity to gain experience in the field of education -Hourly rate ranges between $18-21 dependant on experience -Approximately 34 hours per week while school is in session Please submit: -Professional resume -Cover letter -3 Professional references Submit to: hr@woodlandcharterschool.org Application Deadline: Open Until Filled

Temporary to Permanent Hospitality Specialist POSITION SUMMARY The Hospitality team is looking for a Temporary to Permanent Hospitality Specialist. Hospitality staff are responsible for the general operations of office pantries and the staff dining room that serves 400 + staff on a daily basis. The Temporary to Permanent Hospitality Specialist will assist with responsibilities including loading and unloading commercial dishwashers, organizing and cleaning multiple pantries, keeping track of inventory, and placing orders for all our office locations. Unpacking and stocking food supplies from Fresh Direct and multiple vendors, placing and accepting Grubhub lunch and dinner orders. This position supports breakfast and lunch services Monday through Friday, as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays dinner coverage (summer dinners are five days a week - June to August). This is a full-time position, and the Hospitality operational hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. There will be different shifts offered to cover this time frame with a rotational schedule of eight hours. This is a temporary position that is expected to last for three months. It could become permanent for the right candidate. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Keep the pantries, shelves, refrigerator, and floors thoroughly clean, dusted, and organized.
