Totally Chocolate is looking for a Maintenance Tech to join our maintenance team that keeps us running every day! As producers of custom chocolate products, we have a plant full of various types of machines that you will be trained to maintain. You bring a strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude along with experience in the role that demonstrates your ability to troubleshoot and get us back online. The position is predominantly Monday to Friday day shift but may require occasional weekend or overtime during our peak winter months of production. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment Repair all production equipment as needed Perform breakdown analysis Perform general housekeeping Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards Work independently under limited supervision (self-management) Documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed Production tasks as needed BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 18 years or older Pass the drug test; Pass the background check Experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting repair and installation. Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings). Experience with product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs). Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns). I am looking for someone who is interested in general landscape installation and maintenance work but especially interested in: -Natural stonework (hardscape patios, pathways and wall construction) -Native plants & invasive species removal (planting and maintenance) for habitat creation and restoration -Fruit tree seasonal care (maintenance, pruning and future harvest & processing) There will be plenty of on-the-job training but it is helpful to have some related experience. We provide fire and safety equipment service to commercial businesses in the Puget Sound Region. Responsibilities will include servicing and repair of existing Restaurant Hood Systems and Fire Extinguisher maintenance and certification per requirements. We highly desire you have certifications from hood system training centers or manufacturers certifications. We have most certs and are willing to invest in someone who wants a long term career. Please do not apply if you have no experience in this field of work. Full-time M-F with occasional hours on weekdays and sometimes will require early morning starts. Out-of-town travel is possible on certain occasions. Duties and Responsibilities • Construction Industry experience is preferred. • Knowledge of foundation repair and applying surface coatings is preferred • Experience in grinding concrete, cutting concrete, and breaking concrete a plus. • Install epoxies and other liquid products on foundation walls, floors, and other larger flat surfaces. • Climb ladders, dig using hand tools and mini excavator, and haul material. • Painting, paint prep including sanding, caulking, and priming. • Work in confined areas such as crawl spaces. • Operate paint pumps. • Basic carpentry for forms and finishing. • Communicate with the Project Manager on progress at the job site. • Keep clean and organized job sites. • Maintain good working relationships with all company employees. Safety and Requirements • Keep all job sites clean and in order. • Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures. • Valid State issued driver’s license and use of vehicle to arrive at office.
