Tru-Serve is looking for a Mid-level Building Maintenance Tech II. Works with no supervision, Technicians with Building maintenance experience is expected to learn Tru-Serve's facilities and properties as assigned. The Maintenance Tech II should have at least 2 years of Building Maintenance experience !!! FULL TIME POSITION NO ON-CALLS, NO AFTER-HOURS CALLS Maintenance Technician II Is the Mid-level field of maintenance with Tru-Serve's position, Works with no supervision, Technicians with maintenance experience is expected to learn Tru-Serves facilities and properties as assigned, Know use of tools and equipment and a wide variety of practices and procedures. As experience and competence is gained, assignments become more varied and are performed with high levels of Accuracy. Maintenance Technician II who may advance to the higher level after gaining more skill and experience which meet the qualifications for and demonstrating the ability to perform the work of the higher level class. The MT2 is required to have a special boilers license. The MT2 is also required to have 2 years of Apartment Maintenance, and at least 2 year of Commercial Maintenance. This class is distinguished from the class of Maintenance I by having Special Boilers License, Three or more years of building Maintenance experience. Examples of Key Duties: (Duties are illustrative and not inclusive and may vary with individual assignments.) Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities depending upon area of assignment including performing trade activities such as electrical, plumbing and carpentry work; plants, fertilizes and trims shrubs and trees; pest control without the use of Chemicals. Repairs water lines, repairs and maintains, sidewalks, parking lots, striping; services and repairs of Tru-Serves equipment and other property of Tru-serves, other buildings in a clean and orderly condition. Empties trash containers and removes trash from sites or other locations assigned, landscaped areas and other Tru-Serve properties; and performs custodial work as assigned. Maintains logs and records of work performed and materials and equipment used. Maintains and owns a variety of hand and power tools ensuing they are in safe and efficient working order. Inventories and requests equipment and supplies. Responds to call-outs and emergencies assigned with On-Call and Daily emergencies, work orders or any other job duties assigned. MT2 may instruct and guide temporary, work alternative and seasonal employees and MTI's in basic work procedures and safe working practices. MT2 May contact residents, Clients, Customers, to inform them of work to be performed. Performs other duties of a similar level or nature. Follows the companies' chain of command to get issues resolved.
