Position Overview: We are looking for a hands-on and dependable Commercial Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing operation and upkeep of our commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in general building systems, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to solving maintenance challenges. This position also provides the opportunity to expand into new technical areas through on-the-job learning and cross-training. Responsibilities: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical components. Respond to maintenance tickets in a timely and professional manner, minimizing downtime and disruption to building operations. Inspect, diagnose, and resolve minor issues across building interiors and exteriors—roof, walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, fixtures, etc. Assist with basic equipment maintenance, including commercial-grade appliances and systems found in shared-use areas. Support building cleanliness and safety through routine checks of fire exits, alarms, emergency lighting, and security features. Maintain service logs, tool inventory, and supply records with accuracy and detail. Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized projects or repairs. Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times. Participate in an emergency on-call rotation for after-hours repairs. Willingness to develop skills in specific systems as needed.
