The Diesel Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues for 18 wheelers and box trucks. Duties-- Perform regular maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using diagnostics tools. Conduct brake repairs and ensure all safety standards are met. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and modifications. Operate forklifts to move heavy equipment as needed. Fully knowlodgeable in all 18 wheeler repairs, from bumper to bumper. Electrical experience preferred but not necessary. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and safety protocols. Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to trucks maintenance and repairs. Skills-- Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on diesel engines for 18 wheelers.
