Taking Offers: The 1987 Volkswagen Westfalia Vanagon is a classic and iconic camper van that has a cult following among outdoor enthusiasts and adventure-seekers. With only 25,500 miles on the NEW engine from 2018, this well-preserved vehicle is a rare find. There is a brand new Westy Canvas triple window pop-up that was installed summer of 2024, which provides additional headroom and sleeping space when parked. The Westfalia trim adds a kitchenette with a stove, sink, but the refrigerator does not work and I use it as a cabinet for dry goods. I usually travel with a yeti cooler., I have had it since 2019 but I recently upgraded to a 1999 in order to have an air conditioner. So it’s great if you don’t mind not having an air conditioner. The interior features comfortable seating for up to 5 passengers, all seatbelts, as well as ample storage space for gear and supplies. Swivel seats and two tables. I have also added roof rack for paddle boards or kayaks. There is the roof luggage rack on the roof and the bag that comes along with it for extra storage on top. I also have an ARB awning added, and the extra room that zips onto the awning giving you additional space.. I took a bunch of photos but didn’t feel like putting the room on my awning, so the photos you see are just from the ARB website of what the room looks like when added. It’s a total game changer for adding additional space and having a mosquito net. On the right side of the van by back wheel there is a little bit of a scratch, just a scrape, no big deal. There is a pioneer stereo detachable face. All of the curtains are there and the privacy curtain for the front window when parked. The curtain that goes across slider door is missing some hooks so sags in certain areas but still privacy. There are automatic windows instead of manual roll ups. Automatic transmission. Had a brand nee catalytic converter in 2024 at smog time. Multiple drink cupholders added. I can throw in the old bike rack that could hold up to two bikes.
