2001 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4WD - $10,000 (alameda)

address2152 San Antonio Ave, Alameda, CA 94501, USA

Description

2001 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab, 4WD, Automatic $10,000 obo The Good: Bilstein 5100 Shocks added by me in 2020 Both front axles replaced in 2020. Weathertech floor mats, front and rear 2WD, 4WD, 4WD Low all work exactly as they should. No oil or coolant leaks Starts and runs perfectly, no issues. It is super reliable, and I jump in it for road trips, camping trips, Home Depot runs, and never think about it. Recently Smog tested in May, passed with no problems. Just replaced the tailgate. LED light bar across the front of the lumber rack is incredibly bright. Going down dark back roads at night? Daylight at the press of a button on the dash. Comes with a 2" hitch receiver, as well as two different hitches. One comes with a Convert-a-Ball. I've towed sailboats, dirtbikes, etc and it tows great. The Bed has been coated with LineX. I've used the truck for dump runs, and it takes a lot of abuse. Just did a full oil & filter change. The Bad: Salvage Title CarFax report is available, but I'm the 6th owner, and was salvage titled in 2004, and another accident in 2013. The two front fenders, front bumper, the hood, and the tailgate have been replaced. None of them have been painted, so the primered panels are rusting. The hood is the worst, followed by the fenders. I just replaced the tailgate, so it's actually in good shape. The stock radio stopped working. I use a Bluetooth speaker, so I don't care. Crutchfield will sell you something that fits right in for $200. The paint is peeling, there are dents in pretty much every panel, No rot through the panels, but this is a 24 year old truck that has been used for work and play. It has a lumber rack, but it is a modified Ford F150 rack that a previous owner cut and welded to fit the Tacoma bed. It needs some attention, specifically on the forward uprights where the welds are cracking. This is a real 4WD double-cab Tacoma. It is not a TRD, so does not have the electronic rear locking differential. It is also not a 2WD Prerunner. Don't send me lowball offers without seeing the truck, or generally waste your time or mine. If the ad is up, the truck is still for sale. No I will not hold it for you. I'll do my best to respond quickly to requests.
