2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS - $3,500 (berkeley north / hills)

Mechanical condition is excellent (see notes below). Exterior: A few minor scratches; a couple of the panels have a slightly mismatched finish. Tires in good shape. Includes spare tire and jack. The interior is in very good condition. Notes: I purchased this car on Feb. 16, 2025, from a private seller, for $3,241.65. At the time, I did not have the CARFAX Vehicle History Report, and only had the seller’s word about its history. He was not truthful about the car’s history, and refused to communicate with me once the sale was finalized. I now have the CARFAX Vehicle History Report, and am happy to share it with any potential buyer. When I bought the car, it had 148767 miles on it. It now has less than 150100 miles on it. Obviously, I have driven sparingly during the six months I have owned it. I have spent $3,957.11 fixing all the things that were wrong with the car that were not disclosed to me when I bought it, and receipts are available to be viewed by any potential buyer. To summarize the car’s history based on the CARFAX Vehicle History Report, the car’s second owner was involved in an accident on 12/26/2020, and the car was declared a Total Loss Vehicle by the insurer, and became a Salvage Vehicle. At that point the car had 83,737 miles on it. The car was sold at a salvage auction on 02/01/2021, and its 3rd owner put 36,740 miles on it. Its 4th, 5th and 6th owners purchased it on 05/04/2022, 02/22/2023 and 03/12/2024 respectively, and put a combined 28,293 miles on it. In summary, because of all the money I spent repairing the car since I bought it, it is now in excellent mechanical condition, and to my knowledge has no mechanical problems or issues. The car is available to be inspected by a potential buyer’s mechanic to verify this.
