About the area- 12 min walk to fruitvale bart, 3-4 blocks towards 14 and 1T stops, and a 10 minute drive to south shore shopping center About the building- it's a warehouse that was made into artist lofts in the 80s. The hallways have art and graffiti. There are a few courtyards to hang out in, including right in front of ours. There's off street parking and a couple gas stations in range. There is laundry on site and it uses a Bluetooth app. About the apartment- there are two rooms on the first floor and a reading nook under the stairs. The room available is upstairs with the kitchen and bathroom. There are two huge skylights that bring great lighting for plants(just beware of my cats). There's no a/c but there is a gas heater upstairs. All rooms are the same size which is why rent is split evenly. About the room- it is a loft room with a built in wardrobe. There's a window and a half wall but despite this there is decent privacy as it is the only room upstairs. I've previously lived in this room and found that it was more comfortable and private than expected. About the roommates- Toad(me) it/they, 33, after-school teacher. I've lived here for 4 years in May. I'm pretty quiet and stick to myself while I craft, make art, build my dnd world, and soon pursue my AA-T and voice acting career. I have two senior cats and the eldest has a stress condition which means no more animals aside from like reptiles, amphibians, or other critters(yes spiders are ok) Tay they/them, 25, swim and chess instructor. They will be moving in May 1st but what I know about them is that they're kind and considerate and overall a big nerd like me. We quickly bonded over board games and magic the Gathering. Ideally we're hoping for someone with a reliable job and not too social lol. We both work emotionally demanding jobs that are person forward, so we tend to just stay in our rooms.
