We bring sports, fitness and fun to area preschools, daycares, municipal programs, and private schools. With over 70 different sports and fitness activities, we're looking for people who want to make a difference in the lives of kids. We're not looking to hone the next D1 athlete, we're looking to help kids enjoy sports and fitness by getting an introduction to both mainline sports (basketball, soccer, flag football...) as well as other creative activities that involvement movement. Our most pressing need at this time is for daytime hours working generally in the midtown Indy area (think Meridian Hills over to Binford Blvd. Hours / days will vary but the schedule will be consistent over the course of the winter into spring. As a DSP, you will assist clients with daily living activities, encourage independence, and help them lead fulfilling lives within their communities. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care and support to individuals at our day program and community settings. Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, ICP changes and toileting. Support individuals feeding. Promote independence through skill-building activities, including communication, transportation, and community integration. Document care provided, progress toward goals, and incidents according to agency policies and procedures. Implement individual service plans (ISPs) and behavior support plans (BSPs). Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals served. Collaborate with families, guardians, case managers, and other professionals as needed.
