The Apprentice Carpenter’s principal duty is to assist the lead Carpenter and Site Superintendents with task preparation and site clean-up as directed. The Apprentice Carpenter is under supervision of the Site Superintendent on each project and reports directly to the Director of Construction. *This position requires travel within California and Northern Nevada. Projects outside of 50 miles from Sacramento typically require out-of-town stay during the workweek. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday; hours and location varies based on job schedule. Basic knowledge of handling, care, and working with various types of tools. Works efficiently on a team and individual tasks. Willingness to learn and practice new skills. Ability to understand and follow processes and procedures. Ability to perform light and heavy lifting. Must be enthusiastic and professional. Driver’s License Required. Safety Training upon hire.
