German Car Service in Olympia is currently seeking an experienced automotive technician Compensation based on experience Paid holidays, medical and 401K benefits available Job Summary: The auto technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with factory standards. Job Responsibilities: Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy Communicate with service writer to obtain needed parts Diagnose cause of reported malfunction and perform authorized repairs Thoroughly examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required Properly document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order Road-test vehicles to check work performed Ensure that vehicles are returned cleaner than they were prior to being serviced Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins Keep work area neat and clean and account for all shop-owned tools at all times Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards Perform other duties as requested Required Experience: Three years of experience as a service technician working specifically on BMW's, Mercedes, VW's, Audi and/or Porsche Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information A valid state-issued driver's license and able to drive manual transmission vehicles Pass a criminal background and driving history check Maintain a professional appearance Email resume and cover letter:
