Hi All! Our little bagel shop in Albany continues growing! We want to continue providing the best experience and quality of food possible so we are looking to add to our team of sandwich makers. For this role, we are looking for someone with experience in fast paced work environments, ideally someone who has worked with food in the past, in any capacity. We will train and are happy to do so, but the learning curve is much easier with a little experience. Shifts start at 6am and end at 2:30pm. You will help with morning prep until we open at 7:30, then we take on the orders of the day, at 1:30pm we close and collectively clean up the shop for the day. Hella Bagels has been open since March '24 and before that was a delivery and pop up business since March 2020. We take a lot of pride in the work we do, the quality we uphold, and the emphasis we have on being a place of community, one that welcomes all, and is a safe space. We have a very fun & diverse team that we are hoping to build on! Pay is $20/hr + tips. We offer a health stipend as well as PTO and Sick Pay. Not to mention free bagels! SIT DOWN & STAND-UP REACH FORKLIFT DRIVERS NEEDED!! IMMEDIATE HIRE!! We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position requires proficiency in operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials, load/unload shipments, and support inventory operations efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities: Operate sit-down forklifts for pallet transport and dock work. Operate stand-up reach trucks/order pickers for high-shelf inventory access and warehouse racking. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers. Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately per customer and internal requirements. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Perform routine forklift maintenance and safety inspections. Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times. Assist with inventory control and cycle counts when needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one. 1+ year of experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Comfortable working in fast-paced environments. Preferred Skills: Experience with RF scanners and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems). Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures. Familiarity with OSHA forklift safety standards. Complete all tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to company safety standards, and report any hazards related to property operations.
