Hiring for a Parts Runner at Muffler City & Brake. Full time Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. Saturday 9 to 5 Apply in person. Must be able to lift Tires and wheels.Good driving record is required.

I am leaving the country in about 4 weeks and I am hoping someone needs help with something in exchange to help save money before my travels. This can be a one day job or something consistent. 23 years old, active, mobile, have time on my hands.

Strong basic math skills for inventory management and order processing. Experience with order picking Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy warehouse environment. Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Supervisor and/or Lead Maintenance Specialist in assigned Park District, this position is responsible for learning and performing the various skills that are associated with all aspects of park maintenance, including turf, irrigation, shrub and tree care, and facility maintenance with accepted maintenance practices for developed parks. May be required to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and be on snow watch as well as work shifts deviating from this position’s normal work days and/or with other work groups. Essential Duties: • Performs all cultural maintenance practices inherent to maintaining irrigated turf grass parks including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and irrigation. • Assists in maintenance of tree and shrub care, including plantings, removals, weed/pest control, pruning, and shrub bed maintenance. • Perform trash and recyclables removal operations. Clean and clear park grounds and facilities of litter and debris, operation of a trash/recyclables removal truck, common hand tools, installation and removal of waste receptacles and dog waste station maintenance. • Maintain public shelter facilities including roof repair, picnic table repair, trash receptacle repair, stocking of supplies, painting, staining, restroom cleaning, sanitizing, and grill maintenance. • Assist with the inspection of all parks’ irrigation systems and drinking and ornamental fountains as needed and assist with skilled maintenance including irrigation repairs to mainlines, valves, laterals, heads and pumps. • Assist staff with District sponsored events, making deliveries of materials and supplies necessary to meet the requests of facility rentals and work orders. Set up and disassembly of event tents, tables, picnic benches and chairs. • Assist with the documentation and routine inspection and repairs to play equipment within the district playgrounds. • Ensure proper care of assigned tools and equipment, perform maintenance on small equipment and notify appropriate personnel of need for tool, equipment or vehicle maintenance service or repairs. • Using District watering equipment provide supplemental watering to new plantings. • Complete daily activity reports and records as required. This position may require attendance and involvement in meetings on project progress, safety, park maintenance practices, procedural changes and other topics related to the operations of the District. • Perform snow and ice removal using plow trucks, blowers, shovels, ice scrappers, de-icing salt, etc. • Respond tactfully, respectfully and in a timely fashion to inquiries and problems in person, by email, phone and mail providing helpful information and explanations in-line with District policies and procedures. Job Overview ( Part-time & Full-Time Available) Laundry Attendant will ensure customer satisfaction through helping customers by maintaining the cleanliness, safety and orderliness of the Laundromat. The primary job is cleaning, solving customer problems and selling laundry soap products. Job Responsibilities • Be incredibly friendly, customer-centric, love to smile and have FUN in a team environment • Maintain cleanliness of the store by wiping down counter tops, machine tops, soap receptacles, sweeping the floor, trash, machine lint traps, mopping, etc. • Maintain availability to in-store customers at all times. Be available to assist with washers, dryers, and other customer needs. • Ability to perform other duties as assigned by management. The Habitat Restoration Landscape Technician works under the general supervision of landscape foremen and project managers to implement ecological landscape and habitat restoration projects throughout the Monterey and SF bay areas. Essential Functions of the Job: ○ Works under the direction of the Foreman on jobs with multiple other crew members. ○ Review daily progress and needs of the next day with the Foreman. ○ Perform work in a safe and efficient manner and maintains excellent quality. ○ Understand and perform safety & landscape procedures and participate in weekly safety & training meetings. ○ Inspects equipment daily to ensure proper and safe operation. ○ Accurately fills out time cards daily. ○ Ability to communicate with Foreman, project management and customers in English. ○ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ○ Entry level understanding of landscape installation methods and techniques ○ Experience with basic landscape machinery, tools and materials needed to accomplish work. ○ Assist with Layout, Grading, Planting, Irrigation, Carpentry, Masonry ○ Possess a valid California driver`s license and have a clean driving record.
