Tile Setter Responsibilities: Responsibilities involve laying and setting various tiles, measuring and cutting them precisely, preparing surfaces and applying adhesives, grouting and finishing installations, following blueprints, removing old flooring, cleaning and leveling surfaces, and inspecting and repairing tiles. Tile Setter Requirements: Essential requirements include a minimum of 5 years of experience, proficiency with tile installation tools, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication skills, and reliable transportation with personal tools. Some examples may include rough wiring, troubleshooting using multimeter, installation of new construction and remodel materials for receptacle/switch outlets, single-pole, 3-way and 4-way switches, wall mounted light fixtures, hardwired smoke detectors, recessed lights, EV chargers, PVC/EMT/FLEX conduit, MC cable, low voltage/landscape lighting, replacements of circuit breakers and panel upgrades. This position requires physical work, such as, using power tools, pulling cables and needing to access attic/crawl spaces. Some knowledge of the NEC is also required. We need someone that is responsible, has a reliable source of transportation and can work well with others. Most of the work will be Monday-Saturday and willing to work overtime if necessary.
