Smack Shack (North Loop location) is looking for help at the host stand! Job responsibilities include welcoming guests and directing to the various parts of the restaurant, running seating rotations, taking reservations, answering phones, handling take out orders, etc.. Applicants with open availability are preferred but it is necessary to be available most nights beginning at 4pm. This is a fun, casual atmosphere!

Job description: This is a flexible position, baking/prepping for a few businesses all owned by the same person. You will mainly be responsible for baking various types of breads and pastries. Some for retail and others for use in sandwiches, etc. We make everything from scratch and apply various useful techniques. Hours: 5 am-12 pm or 1 am Full-time Monday - Friday Compensation -$18 If you are looking for a great learning environment with steady, challenging, and active work, this is the job for you. NO experience is required; we are prepared to teach the right candidate. All we ask is that you show up enthusiastically and ready to learn. Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be on time for work.

Kyatchi is a small, artsy and independent sustainable Japanese restaurant located in the Kingfield Neighborhood in South Minneapolis. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working server to join our team. Kyatchi has removed tipping at our restaurants. Employment starts at $20/hr. Health insurance will be fully provided to all Full-Time employees after 90 days. All staff earn paid-time-off at a rate of 1 hour for every 20 hours worked. Every shift earns a free shift meal. This position is a part time job but there could be full time opportunities in the future. Our current operating hours are daily from 4:00pm - 9:00pm. Friday and Saturday we are open until 11pm and Saturday and Sunday we open at Noon. Weekend availability is a requirement for this position.
