We are currently hiring a Project Architect in our Architectural division at our Albany, NY office. The Architectural Division at LaBella provides comprehensive planning and design services for a wide variety of markets, including State Corrections, Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education, Residential, Commercial, and Municipal. The overall expectations of the Project Architect position are to work with large project teams, including outside subconsultants, to ensure that all aspects of the project are being met and completed. An individual in this position needs to be capable of delegating aspects of work to the Project Technician and coordinating with all other disciplines. The Project Architect will assist the Project Manager with client meetings, design team meetings, and construction administration. In addition, the Project Architect must be motivated and capable of performing all duties with minimal guidance. A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability t lead, communicate, coordinate, and motivate. A successful candidate will also possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills, as well as contribute to a positive work environment. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture Registered Architect in the state of New York (desirable but not required) 6-10+ years of experience Prior experience working with NYS OGS and/or other government agencies (desirable but not required) Have thorough knowledge and understanding of New York State building codes Strong technical design and construction document skills Well-developed project design and planning skills Excellent graphic presentation skills CAD experience. PRESCHOOL DANCE TEACHER - Teacher will come to our Fine Arts Daycare 4 mornings per week from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Will take students age 2 - 5 to the studio room for dance instruction, groups will rotate every 20 minutes. The teacher is responsible to follow the dance syllabus and offer fun, creative and educational classes in Ballet, Tap and Creative Movement. The Dance Teacher is responsible to work with a team member to create recital dances for each group, and also be available for 2 evening recitals in May to help children on the stage. I am looking for someone dependable who loves working with children and sharing the love of dance with them. These hours are perfect for a college student working around a school schedule or a mom after she drops children off at school. Requirements Candidates must have a dance background and be knowledgeable with French Ballet Terms and Tap combination patterns. I would prefer that candidates have experience teaching dance classes but am also willing to guide an experienced dancer. Preschool Dance Teachers must wear dance clothing and dance shoes. We find that our little ones idolize their dance teachers and we want a teacher that sets a good example for them.
