THE JOB (What You'll Actually Do): Average 3,500-4,000 miles per week. Be early to pick up loads. Be early to delivery. Document everything in Samsara. Answer when dispatch calls. Don't hit things. That's it. That's the job. THE STANDARDS (Non-Negotiable): - 10+ hours drive time daily (we track this) - Answer Dispatch (we track this too) - Submit your paperwork (no exceptions) - Run the load, don't let the load run you. THE MONEY (Real Numbers from Real Drivers): - Odometer Miles. - Bonused monthly on Miles. - Bonused weekly on Drive Time. - Paid for inconveniences: detention, stops, etc. Bottom Line: Expect $2k+ paychecks weekly. THE CATCHES (Read This Twice): - You're 1099. Handle your own taxes. - Miss standards = Lose freedoms. - Yes, we know the routes are tight. - Yes, we run nights occasionally. - Yes, if the road is open in the winter, we run. - No, we don't care about your excuses. Qualifications Qualifications: • CDL Class A required • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency. • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
