Laborer – Fire/Water Restoration 📍 Deerfield, MA ⏰ 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Monday–Friday 💲 $17/hour 🚨 Immediate Start About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Laborer to join our fire and water damage restoration team. This is a hands-on position that involves assisting with cleanup, demolition, and restoration of residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, or other damage. Training will be provided, but candidates should be reliable, hardworking, and ready to jump in immediately. Using hand tools, and power tools to ensure smooth surfaces. Assembling finished parts as needed Responsibilities ~ Grind, sand and polish production parts according to customer specifications ~ Ensures quality production through physical inspection. ~ Inspect parts for flaws and cracks. ~ Will frequently and repetitively be able to lift 50 lbs. ~ Maintains high level of accuracy, efficiency and safety, ensure quality standards and policy objectives are met by in-process inspection. ~ Experience with basic inspection equipment and small tools (calipers, grinders, measuring tape, etc.) ~ Ability to work overtime as needed to meet schedule requirements. ~ Willingness to follow instruction and help wherever needed in the shop. ~ Be self motivated, positive team-oriented attitude. ~ Must maintain a clean and safe working environment Employee is regularly exposed to vibration, moderate noise levels.
