I focus on high-quality residential renovations and I don't mind taking the time to find the right next person to join the team. Ideally, you would have a wide background of skills, but the most important thing is that you have an attitude of "I'm here to listen, I'm here to learn and I'm focused on getting better at my craft." We are seeking a motivated and reliable Field Crew Member to join our surveying team. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, gain hands-on experience in land surveying, and support projects that help shape infrastructure and communities. Key Responsibilities: • - Assist survey crew in conducting field surveys for construction, boundary, and topographic projects. • - Set up, operate, and maintain survey instruments and equipment (GPS, total stations, levels, etc.). • - Collect accurate field data and ensure proper documentation of measurements. • - Follow instructions from crew chief and ensure safety protocols are observed. • - Assist with clearing survey lines, setting stakes, and marking boundaries. • - Perform basic calculations and note-taking as directed. Qualifications: • - High school diploma or equivalent (some college or technical training in surveying preferred). • - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain. • - Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. • - Ability to lift and carry survey equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs). • - Previous surveying or construction experience is a plus but not required. IDEAL CANDIDATE STATEMENT The ideal candidate will be a licensed architect with previous experience working with a government agency and/or worked as a consultant on public sector projects.
