On Call Campus Supervisor - Secondary with Fremont Unified (fremont / union city / newark)

While experience with non speakers may be helpful, it is not a pre-requisite. Most importantly, you are fun, extremely patient, creative, curious and willing to learn. This is definitely a role where there will be a lot of on the job learning! Weekly time commitment may be just a few hours and up to 15 hours per week to start, so this might be just the thing for someone looking for extra work after a school day or on the occasional weeknight or weekend afternoon or evening.

TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: ● Knowledge of instructional methods tailored to students’ grade level and diverse needs. ● Passion for working with students of various backgrounds and abilities, supporting their growth toward educational success. ● Excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to meet deadlines, manage both small and large groups, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues—especially on sensitive topics. ● Proficient in using assistive technologies, email systems, and software like word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets. ● Comfortable with both PC and Apple computers, utilizing them to enhance instruction and student learning .● DCF 45 hours completed and CPR/First Aid certification training. ● Knowledge of NAEYC’s required standards to maintain the school’s accreditation on an ongoing basis. ● Associate teachers must have a CDA or an AA in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
