MIG Welder/Fabricator (South Phoenix/Tempe)

Fab Shop seeking to hire for Full time MIG Welding/Fabrication position in South Phoenix/Tempe area. (40th St. and Southern) We build mild steel and stainless steel enclosures and other products of various sizes. $24-28/hr to start DOE Full Time Position is 7am-4pm Monday thru Friday. We are looking for a well-rounded individual that has the following traits: punctual, dependable, shows initiative, works well with others, keeps a clean work environment, and is responsible. Applicants will be given a weld test, so please be prepared if called for an interview. Interviews are by appointment only. Ideal candidate requirements: · 2-3 Years relevant experience · Push/pull MIG welding experience for proper TAC placement with hot TACS · Create fixtures and use jigs · Experience operating Shears, Benders, Cold Saw/Band Saw Hand/air tools and electric grinders. · Fork lift Experience · Current Driver’s license · Supply pick up, product drop offs · Able to pass a drug test · Attention to Detail. Will be working off of CAD drawings to exact dimensions and specifications · Works effectively with minimal supervision. -Maintains good housekeeping practices. -Observes safety regulations and exhibits a high concern for safety. Able to wear safety apparatus/clothing when required. -Must be reliable and dependable. · Reads and understands English · Ability to Lift up to 75 pounds frequently throughout the day. -Prolonged standing, welding while bending intermittently during work hours. -Ability to Bend, stoop, crouch, twist, lean, reach, picks up and lifts raw materials of various weights and of various lengths.
