Pettit Staffing Service is seeking Maintenance Technician for Temporary to hire opportunities. These positions require 12-panel drug testing. Full Comprehensive Medical benefits after 90 days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and the ability to troubleshoot various maintenance issues. The Maintenance Technician will also play a key role in supervising maintenance activities and leading projects to improve facility operations. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, utilizing tools such as an Ohmmeter. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Possibly Assist in welding tasks as needed to maintain structural integrity of facilities. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related concerns promptly. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read schematics. Proficient in using tools such as an Ohmmeter for diagnostics. Leadership skills with experience supervising a team preferred. Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong logical reasoning skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
