Experience reading, organizing, executing, and fulfilling tickets on the line without assistance from an expo. Garde-Manger experience / ability to plate attractive dishes in a timely manner under pressure. Multi-tasking skills and ability to balance preparing mise during service and executing tickets. High standards of cleanliness and ability to perform opening / closing duties to meet company expectations. Knowledge of vegan / vegetarian cooking preferred Breakfast experience required. Food safety knowledge and ServSafe Food Handler's Certification required. Prep Cook: Working experience in a scratch kitchen preparing sauces, spreads, dressings, dry products (including but not limited to: brittles, toasted nuts / seeds, granolas, etc.) and large batch recipes that require multitasking, time management, and attention to detail. Proficient culinary technique: knife skills, use of equipment such as blenders, food processors, juicers, induction burners, ovens, etc. Ability to do basic math, conversions, measurements, and scale recipes as needed. Ability to independently complete a comprehensive prep list. High standards of cleanliness and ability to perform opening / closing duties to meet company expectations. Knowledge of vegan / vegetarian cooking preferred Commissary / large batch prep experience required. Food safety knowledge and ServSafe Food Handler's Certification required. Job Requirements: +Morning and daytime availability. +Must be able to bend, stoop, reach high and low and work at a constant pace, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work in a safe manner and follow directions and ability to communicate with supervisors. Experience Needed: +Must have at least 2 years in high volume restaurant.
