Maintenance technician positions require that an individual be able to lift moderate weights of between 30-60 lbs. on a regular basis and the ability to stand and/or walk all day. In addition, occasional heavy lifting may be required. Duties of this position may require strength and endurance in performing heavy manual labor. Alternating on-call shifts required. Must live within 30mins of Newport, RI for on-call. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites  Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of project  Measure, cut, install wood framing drywall, cabinets, flooring, trim, formwork, and other materials  Lifting and moving objects and construction materials intermittently or on a continuous basis. Demolition as required.  Use of lasers, measuring devices.  Experience in using power tools, saws, pump jack staging  General apartment building maintenance Must have a valid license and reliable transportation.
