Northstrat is seeking a senior developer with experience architecting and implementing technical solutions using modern software development practices and technologies. This is a new project with greenfield development! Your responsibilities will include architecting and implementing microservice solutions for complex problems and mentoring junior developers. You will write code using Test Driven Development that complies with our projects high code quality standards.  The ideal candidate leads by example and encourages a collaborative team-solutioning environment. Although project requirements may dictate schedules, a Northstrat employee is only required to work an average of 8 hours per weekday over the course of a month. For example: John worked 12 hours on June 1st to meet a project deadline. On June 15th, John only worked 4 hours because he left early for a long weekend. John’s IBA was not debited for time off because flex time allowed him to carry over those 4 hours from June 1st. Position Purpose: Responsible for driving student workers to and from their Corporate Work Study Program (CWS) jobs. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensure the vans have gas and are properly maintained. Drive 8 to 10 students on a scheduled route throughout Portland, Beaverton, and Vancouver to and from their job assignments. Buses provided Drive approximately 2 hours in the morning from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and approximately 2 hours in the afternoon from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, as needed (5 days/week, approximately 4-5 hours per day). Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy Matillion ETL jobs in accordance with project requirements. Review code of other developers (L2, L3-BI/DI) to ensure code standards and provide approval as part of code review activities. Resolve escalation tickets from the L2 team as part of the on-call schedule. Working knowledge of API and Postman tool is an added advantage.
