1965 Corvette roadster. Nassau blue, L76 327/365hp, 4 speed Muncie close ratio transmission. 3:55 positraction rear end. Mostly an original car first delivered to Good Chevrolet, Alameda, Ca on 1/13/1965. Spent most of its time in CA and Texas. Frame is rock solid and the engine is strong. Tracks very straight and has no play in the steering. Heater system, 6500 rpm tach, and clock have been restored in last two years. Everything works as originally designed except the windshield squirter. Black leather seats and paint color are the same as that on the build tag. The 7 year old paint job is flawless and without a scratch. Tail/brake lights, headlight motors, bumpers, and dash have all been updated. White convertible top is essentially new. The engine is believed to be original but was decked during a previous re-build and the numbers are gone. The block casting is correct as are the dates of the heads, transmission and other engine parts. The clutch is smoothe with no chatter and the 4 wheel disc brakes have no signs of wear or overheating. Speedo shows 20,000. I have the original distributor, and OEM shield and all the new parts to convert the ignition to factory type electronic. The frame number matches the VIN which matches NCRS records. Located in Walnut Creek, CA. Asking $62,000. Call Mike
