Position is a Part time Year round position. up to Full time Hours May - Mid October. Part time hours October through March Must have an excellent driving record, be able to work in the outdoor elements, communicate with current and potential customers, ability to lift 50 lbs. and able to drive a company cargo van. Have previous experience with Merchandising and Distribution. Forklift experience is a plus. Must also have the understanding to use electronic tablet for logging data and numbers. Perform assembly tasks as per job router specifications and drawings, adhering to quality standards. Run the job to produce the correct quantity of product. Record accurate times on the router for each job performed. Conduct quality checks, first-piece and in-process, on products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with company standards. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively to meet production deadlines. Complete cross-training initiatives across multiple work areas/processes to be able to support production needs across the entire facility. Maintain accurate production logs and documentation as required. Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve production efficiency and quality. Follow work instructions for each area of the fabrication department. Follow all safety instructions. Assist in the training of new hires. Report quality problems to applicable supervisor. Follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary. Perform any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the fabrication system. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.
