Amazing Athletes is the country’s most popular educational sports program for children ages 2 to 12 and offer classes year-round. Classes are scheduled in blocks starting from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, M-F with Saturday options available. We have multiple positions available. Apply today! Salary: Compensation starts at $26 per hour and goes up to $40 per hour depending on your experience and commitment. Responsibilities: Teach the fundamentals of 10 different sports, including soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, football, track and field, baseball, and golf Incorporate lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills and physical literacy Provide a fun and engaging learning environment for children to learn and grow Plan and execute age-appropriate activities and obstacle courses Actively engage with parents and caregivers to ensure a positive experience for all children and families Ensure that class materials and equipment are properly maintained and organized Requirements Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be fun, energetic, patient, attentive and reliable. Passion for sports/fitness and working with children. Prior experience working with children is a plus! (Preschool teachers, camp counselors, elementary education substitute teachers, coaches, etc.) Background in fitness a plus! As a coach, you will work with small groups of children across various ages, developing their skills, physical literacy, and teamwork abilities. At YAU, we believe in using positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to help each child feel confident, regardless of their age or skill level. With over 20 years of experience, we have a best-in-class curriculum that is specific and progressive to every child's developmental needs. As a coach, your role will be instrumental in the development of children's gross motor skills and socialization skills, making a positive impact on their lives. This job is perfect for part-time workers, retirees, high school and college students, stayat- home parents, nanny, teachers, and anyone else with a flexible schedule who have a passion for sports, love working with young children, and wants to give back to their community! The ideal team member will have experience working in Tennis, Golf and/or Pickleball Schedules will vary but class times will typically fall between Monday-Friday: 1:30pm - 4:30pm (Varies by school) Requirements Strong sports background with general sports knowledge.
