POSITION SUMMARY: Hardware assembly with hand tools into parts across one or more production areas ensuring required standards of quality are met DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: • Demonstrate good hand and eye coordination with the ability to use both hands in installing small hardware pieces (screws/rivets) and insulation. • Optimize daily production and on-time delivery performance • Notifies Supervisor of problems which affect the production/quality of parts • Completes all assignments in a timely manner and procedures are followed. • Responsible for quality and quantity of products. • Works with limited or no supervision • Must have knowledge of material speeds and feeds, fixturing and tooling. REASONING ABILITIES: • Uses good judgment; seeks advice and help when necessary. • Must be able to distinguish between acceptable and non-acceptable parts.
