ShareEstablished awning company looking for skilled mechanic/tradesman to install awnings in the Richmond Area. Don't apply if you do not have at least 2 years of construction experience. Must be in good physical condition and able to accomplish standard construction tasks. Full Time career position. Report to the shop everyday and drive Company Vehicle to job site. Must have drivers license, be dependable, detail oriented and hard working. Company supplied tools and uniforms. Must be OK with ladders. Health care, paid vacation, and paid holidays after 90 days. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure, add and subtract basic fractions, and can identify and describe the use of standard construction tools. Qualified Applications should be able to correctly answer questions like these: 1. What is the difference between an impact driver and a hammer drill? 2. If you have a pipe that is 22 1/2” long and cut a piece that is 8 ¼” long off and then another that is 3 5/8” long of the same pipe, how long is the piece of pipe that you have left over? Assume that the saw blade is 1/8” thick. 3. Describe the difference between a pan head screw and a bolt and when would you use each? Please include answers in response to the ad. Include a resume if available. We drug test new applicants. We do not test for marijuana.
