Looking for someone ready to work and learn the ropes with a real estate developer. You ideally have some tools and your own transportation for 20 to 40 + hours per week with those hours being flexible. This immediate opportunity entails working in the South Shore and could lead to much more work for the right candidate with other skills and an eagerness to work and learn. We are urgently hiring a Environmental Technician. This candidate will be working on construction sites throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. (Company Truck Available). They will be a responsible, self-sufficient, and energetic member of the team, focused on completing field tasks, including the operation and maintenance of remediation systems, along with sampling of environmental media. Essential Duties: - Assistance with site remediation system operations and maintenance activities - Inspecting equipment to evaluate remedial system performance and identify possible malfunctions - Perform maintenance on system components to ensure or restore proper operation and compliance -Collect samples from monitoring wells, collect stormwater samples, collect soil and gas samples.
